PRP Face Treatments
What is PRP Therapy?
Platelet-rich plasma cells are extracted from a sample of your own blood, and injected into chosen treatment areas.
Benefits of PRP FACE Treatments.
Platelets contain a high concentration of growth factors which stimulate production of collagen and elastin. Many patients see firmer, smoother, younger-looking skin after PRP treatment. Take a look at the image gallery below for some examples.
What to expect during treatment.
Our dermatology expert Dr Angelika will first consult with you, assess the condition of your skin and discuss any issues or expectations. Pre-treatment photos will be taken, so we can assess the subsequent improvement. The skin is then prepared and treated with a numbing cream and a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm. After centrifuge treatment, the PRP is extracted into a new syringe to be injected in any chosen treatment areas in the face.
How much does it cost?
Dr Angelika is currently offering PRP face or hair treatments at an introductory price of £170 in our Central London clinic. Sessions typically last around 40 minutes.

PRP Hair restoration
PRP treatment for the scalp is a proven hair treatment for men or women, helping to reduce hair loss or thinning, and improving new growth and condition.
The high concentration of growth factors in the extracted plasma can stimulate inactive hair follicles towards an active phase. New growth is also encouraged from increased blood flow within the scalp. This double-action effect results in fuller and thicker hair growth for most patients.
As a natural and minimally-invasive procedure using your own platelets, it avoids the significant side effects of hair-loss medication. If you’ve had a hair transplant, PRP can also help newly transplanted hair to grow.
What does the procedure involve ?
Your own platelet-rich plasma is extracted after spinning a sample of your blood in a centrifuge (20ml is taken from the arm). This is then injected into areas of the scalp where hair loss or hair thinning is seen or forecast.
How many sessions are recommended?
PRP treatment typically promotes hair growth in the scalp for around 3 months and results can be noticed for over a year. Top-up procedures at 6-12 months will help maintain the effects.
Any downtime?
You can return to your normal routine right after treatment. The needles used are tiny, so there is minimal risk of visible bruising. There may be some temporary light bruising on your arm where the blood was drawn.
How much does PRP hair regeneration cost?
Dr Angelika can offer PRP hair treatments for an introductory price of £170 a session in our London clinic. Treatment time is around 40 minutes.

PRP facelift with microneedling
The famous “Vampire Facial”
Platelet Rich Plasma is extracted from your own blood and applied during the microneedling procedure for the face and neck. Microneedling is an effective skin treatment on its own, but when combined with PRP therapy, the healing and rejuvenation effects are significantly enhanced.
What are the benefits of the Vampire Facial treatment?
Deliberate micro-injuries produced by microneedling trigger a healing response, and the high concentration of PRP helps to stimulate new healthy skin growth.
PRP Microneedling can result in a significant improvement in skin quality in the face and neck area with improved texture and tone. The increased collagen production firms the skin – reducing sagging – and is often compared to a non-surgical facelift effect.
The procedure is also effective for acne scarring, rosecea improvement, pore size reduction and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. PRP facials are a favourite of celebrities and are often credited in interviews for a healthy glowing complexion.
How safe is PRP microneedling ?
Despite the sinister name and being popularised by a scary looking instagram post from Kim Kardashian, the ‘vampire facelift’ or PRP microneedling is extremely safe. Using the patient’s own blood eliminates the risk of allergic or adverse reactions.
Rest assured, you are in safe hands at Anastasia Esthetic. PRP procedures are performed by our expert dermatologist, Dr Humera Faisal, who has many years of UK hospital and clinical experience. She has stringent working procedures, with a focus on patient health and safety at all times. Individually sealed sterile syringes and disposable needle cartridges ensure there is no possibility of cross-contamination. Unlike thermal rejuvenation treatments such as IPL or lasers, there is also no risk of skin discolouration from inappropriate usage.
What to expect during treatment.
Dr Angelika will first consult with you, assess the condition of your skin and discuss any issues or expectations. Pre-treatment photos will be taken, so we can assess the subsequent improvement.
The skin is then prepared and treated with a numbing cream and a small amount of blood (around 3-4 tablespoons) will be drawn from your arm into a sterile test tube. After centrifuge treatment, the platelet rich plasma is topically applied during microneedling. Any PRP remaining can be injected into deeper lines or wrinkles.
Full aftercare instructions will be given. Skin will have some temporary redness after treatment so be prepared to stay at home for the first day!
How many sessions are recommended?
The effects aren’t immediate and it typically takes 3 weeks to see results which continue to improve over time. While many patients report significant improvements after a single session, for optimal results, a course of 3 treatments is recommended at 4-6 week intervals. A top-up procedure every 6-12 months can help maintain your skin in great condition.
How much does it cost?
Dr Angelika is currently offering Vampire Facelift treatments for an introductory price of £290 in our London clinic. A full course of 3 treatments over 4-6 months is available for a discounted price of £700.
